Lisbon raises the bar, being the first destination with potential real estate investment,

Lisbon, rises 10 places in 2019 to number 1 and is considered the city with the most potential for real estate investment.
The quality of life that Portugal offers allied to cosmopolitan cities like Lisbon and Porto is also a determining factor for Portuguese real estate investment. More and more people decide to buy a property to sell or lease because they believe that the property will appreciate and will have a large profit margin. According to PWC, the interviewees cite the city’s “quality of life” and the investment with great return. With the economy growing at a good pace, the capital is now a destination internationally known to business, investors and tourists.
Portugal has conquered the world in recent years and is in the sights of tourists and investors who in turn account for the huge increase in business in the real estate sector. For the second time in a row, the World Travel Awards Portugal was voted “Best Destination in the World”, Lisbon was considered the “Best Destination for City Break” and Madeira “the Best Insular Destination”.
